Our client, a top-tier global law firm, is seeking a Pitch & Pursuits Manager to lead end-to-end proposal and panel submissions in Australia. You’ll coach partners and lawyers, lift pitch quality and win rates, and embed best practice across the business.

What you’ll do

  • Own the proposal lifecycle for bids, panels and strategic pursuits – scoping, strategy, content, and on-time delivery.
  • Coach partners, lawyers and BD/marketing teams in pitch best practice; run tender debriefs and feed insights back to the business.
  • Assess opportunities against firm strategy; help stakeholders qualify/decline and mobilise the right team and resources fast.
  • Develop reusable messaging and content libraries; champion continuous improvement and training regionally and globally.

Where this role sits
You’ll report to the Associate Director of BD & Marketing and collaborate daily with partners, lawyers and BD/MC colleagues, as well as Pricing, LPM, Finance, HR and KM.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong organisational and project management skills; comfortable juggling tight, competing deadlines.
  • Credibility and diplomacy with senior stakeholders; confident leading cross-functional (often remote) teams.
  • Client-centred mindset, resilience and a genuine “can-do” approach.
  • Significant BD/communications experience within professional services, with hands-on proposal development expertise.
