We have four mandates to engage with BD and Marketing Advisers and entry-level Managers, ready take their career to the next level. These opportunities are within global, national tier-1, national mid-tier, and specialist boutique firms. The nature of the roles vary from hybrid client/BD/marketing, to traditional practice group.

Typical responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans in collaboration with partners to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including partners to enhance business growth and client retention.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to advise on potential legal services demand and new market opportunities.
  • Lead and coordinate pitches and proposals, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic goals and client needs.
  • Mentor junior staff within the business development team to build departmental expertise (where appropriate).
  • Organise and participate in networking and industry events to enhance firm visibility and develop new business leads.
  • Track and report on business development activities and outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Experience required:

  • Roughly, between three and eight years’ experience in business development and/or marketing in professional services.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Ideally, a proven track record in identifying opportunities and developing strategic business development plans to pursue and win work, leading or supporting BD planning efforts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
