Are you a commercial and innovative thinker with experience supporting the development and implementation of business plans, growth strategies and day to day BD and marketing work in a strategic manner? Dalton Handley is partnering with one of Australia’s most popular legal business development and marketing functions to recruit a talented candidate with between three and seven years’ experience to join their team in a role offering both career growth and flexible work options, depending on experience. Role reponsibilities:
- Working with Partners to deliver business development, practice growth and profile-raising advice and business plans.
- Manage opportunity identification, pursuits and the delivery of compelling and commercial responses to opportunities that arise.
- Supporting Client Relationship partners on client plans, opportunity identification and client expansion.
- Collaborating with BD team members and key contacts to attend pitch debriefs and client listening sessions, ascertain opportunities and areas for improvement, and work on implementing key lessons and messages.
- Supporting key stakeholders by contributing to the growth of clients and success of the groups while building on your industry and client knowledge, advisory, strategy and client management skills.
What are we looking for?
A talent business developer and marketer with proven experience working in a complex partnership structure.
- 3 to 10 years’ experience in BD within the professional services industry.
- Strategic yet hands-on.
- Exceptional attention to detail inclusive of thoughtful and diligent work practices.
- Collaborative skills to work effectively within a team environment, as well as the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to seek, and take, direction and feedback.
- Self-driven work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
