Our client is a proudly independent Australian law firm that works closely with corporations, businesses and governments throughout Australia.

While being part of the national Business Development team, the Event Executive will develop and deliver events best-practice processes and procedures, provide event advice through internal stakeholders (including partners), and manage firm events from inception through to post event analysis.

Role responsibilities

  • Substantive events experience within a professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Initiative, creativity and a keen eye for detail, particularly in the drafting of internal and external event communications.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach, consistently demonstrating initiative and creativity.
  • New business and thought leadership.

Skills and qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in an autonomous events role, preferably in professional services.
  • Technical aptitude and strong events experience, ideally within professional services or a B2B environment.
  • Be highly organised, proactive, calm under pressure with exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to multi task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and interact in a team environment.
