We are partnering with one of Australia’s most prestigious professional services firms, highly sought after as employer of choice amongst the ICON community, to recruit multiple business development and client relationship management positions as the firm enjoys continued growth. These exciting roles will work as part of a renowned business development team to drive business development and client activities for prominent service lines or strategic accounts.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Advising on strategy for key service lines including driving business planning and initiatives and project managing their delivery
  • Understand and engage with key markets, industry sectors, clients and services and identify potential opportunities
  • Management and overview of strategic pitches / RFP responses, capability statement and proposals – including developing differentiators, coordinating pitch documentation, managing post-pitch processes and driving presentation planning sessions
  • Driving business development activities in line with the firm’s strategy
  • Coaching senior stakeholders on business development methodologies

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience of working at BD management level for 5 years+
  • Previous experience of working in professional services essential
  • Be business fluent, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with and influence strong stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Commercial mindset with strong decision making skills
