We are working with a global leader in law with a focus on client excellence, high-performance and results. Working closely with an experienced senior manager, this is a unique opportunity to drive BD strategies across corporate, tax and renewables with a focus on key client account management.

This is a broad and exciting BD role with the opportunity to work in a sophisticated and supportive team.

Role responsibilities

  • Drive and coordinate BD activities for the group in line with the national strategy, working closely with the senior BDM
  • Be involved in key BD and client planning, assisting in the implementation of BD initiatives and major client opportunities
  • Assist with all areas across broader profile raising, including thought leadership, marketing campaigns, legal directories, social media and CRM
  • Build and develop strong relationships with fee earners across Australia and within the group globally
  • Proactively look for opportunities both internally and externally through research, relationship building and keeping up to date with relevant news
  • Learn and drive best practice across the group
  • Ad hoc global BD projects, working with an experienced team

Required skills and qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • 1+ years’ experience in professional services
  • Self-starter who will identify, take accountability for, and follow through on potential opportunities and initiatives
  • Enthusiastic, ‘can-do’ and proactive attitude – this is critical to the success of this role
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work autonomously when required as well as the ability to work within a team and take direction from others
  • High level of confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy
